THIS IS ANOTHER NEW PAGE IN YOUR LIFE!
HOW TO FIX YOUR LIFE by m.s. wardrip
CHAPTER TWO
These Things We Believe… Or Not
Fear not.
Jesus said; “And be not afraid of them that kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul” (Matt. 10:28).
“How shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation?” (Heb. 2:3).
Note: I am a Christian and what I believe may not be what you believe. You can write to me and tell me what you believe and I will respect your choice just as I hope you respect my choice. In this book I am writing to you and telling you how I fixed my life and how you can fix yours. I can do it no other way except to tell you what I believe. If my belief offends you in any way, I’ll be happy to refund your purchase price. Send the book back and I’ll send your money back. No apology. No questions asked.
I believe Jesus Christ opened up the way for salvation for all men. But that does not mean that all will be saved. There are certain conditions that must be met before one can be saved.
“For by grace have ye been saved through faith; and not of yourselves, it is the gift of God” (Eph. 2:8)
To continue… “not of works, that no man should glory. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God afore prepared that we should walk in them” (Eph. 2:8-10)
It’s a free gift. It does not cost you anything. Salvation is a free gift from God. Unconditional love. If you accept the free gift you have an abundant reward. If you waste it by being careless and negligent, your life will be one of spiritual poverty. If you put your best into it, you will receive an abundant reward.
He loves you whether you love him or not. That is unconditional love.
He tells us to forgive others just as He forgives us.
He tells us He is with us always.
He tells us truth.
In the Holy Bible, Paul said, “If any man’s work shall abide which he built thereon, he shall receive a reward. If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as through fire” (1 Cor 3:14-15).
It’s a personal, individual experience. God’s Word magnifies your worth. God’s Word expands the dignity of your human personality. It’s not a family or group thing. It’s your thing. It’s my thing. It’s a “me” thing. God loves You. God Loves Us.
When Jesus Christ wanted to explain the plan of salvation, he pointed to an experience in Biblical times in the wilderness wanderings of the Children of Israel. They had complained because of how rough their life had been. As a judgment of God, He sent fiery serpents into their camp, and many of the people were bitten and were dying. They cried for mercy! God told Moses to make a brazen serpent, put it on a pole, and to lift it up in the middle of the camp. His promise was that if anyone bitten by the serpent would lift his eyes and look upon the brazen serpent, he would be saved from death (Num 21: 4-9).
Jesus made the application. “And as Moses lifted up the serpent…even so must the Son of man be lifted up: that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3: 14-15, KJV).
So, there you have it. There is nothing to fear. Fear has been defeated with the resurrection of Jesus Christ and God’s plan of salvation for every single man, woman, child, boy or girl. Yes! Even you! Even me and even anybody else who has the ears to hear the truth. It’s just a choice. Thank God that He gave us a choice! I wouldn’t like a God that said, “No choice.!”, it just wouldn’t be fair and if God, the creator of everything isn’t fair, what could be?
Now you may find this hard to believe, but I’m not going to mention Jesus, Christianity, or religion in the rest of the book. (Except, I might mention that you should pray) I’ve already said it all and the choice is yours. I pray you don’t make the wrong choice. My choice is most of what fixed my life. I hope you choose to fix your life.
Remember… No Fear!
Remember, there is no shortage of courage, strength, creativity, no limited supply of abundance.
Know you don’t have to compete when you know everyone has the same opportunity for the same reward.
Do not concern yourself with possible disasters, future emergencies, dreaded possibilities… those are all fear and fear no longer exist. Say this, “I fear not.” When things happen (like Earthquakes) you are now prepared to handle it.
Look at it and know you are covered. Fear not. Today my work is fixing. Today my work is the fix. Today is fixed.
My mind is fixed on the fix. When someone says to you, “You can’t do this or that but you know you can or they try to discourage you, put you down or bully you, you just smile and think to yourself, “I fear not. My mind is fixed on the fix.”
Forgiveness goes a long way.
“Always forgive your enemies. Nothing annoys them so much.” –Oscar Wilde
Additionally,
Do not fix your mind on obstacles, poverty, doubt, uncertainty, old ways or circumstances beyond your control.
It is in control, just not yours, so don’t worry about it. We, you and I, are focused on “the fix”.
Watch what you say. Don’t bring up negative stuff. Don’t gossip. Don’t backbite. Don’t put people down. Don’t say hurtful things. Don’t talk back. Don’t cause trouble. Don’t cause confusion. Don’t lie. Don’t make it worse, FIX IT!
Fixing it always makes it better and better really IS better.
Don’t talk about how hard times are. Know it’s temporary.
Don’t talk about how there’s never enough, how there’s not a way out, or a way up, or a better way.
There is more than enough. There is a way out. There is a way up and there is a better way.
When you think that things just couldn’t get worse, you are living in fear. This is when the greatest opportunities exist. This is the best time to be fearless. This is the best time to fix your life.
Fear not!
Train yourself to know you are fixing your life in every second of the day.
Know that you are growing, becoming, developing into the advanced person that you are.
I fear not!
Never allow discouragement into your life. Fix it immediately if it starts.
Never allow disappointment to rule your life.
Kick failure out. That will fix that!
Hold onto all that is good and all that is yours.
Don’t allow false impressions to trick you. You are a success!
Know that you are receiving goodness all the time from the source of all there is.
Make up your mind that your life is being fixed and it will be. It is!
Realize that what you used to think was failure, isn’t. It’s triumph!
Keep on! Do it! Do it now! Succeed! Fix it and keep on fixing!
You cannot fail when you are fixing your life. You cannot fail!
Everything you ask for will come your way if you can see it and believe it.
You have overcome what could have stopped you already! See it! Know it!
Know you have fixed that. You have. You have fixed it.
Don’t take “No” for an answer.
Ask, “Am I the answer to my success?”
The answer is, “Yes, I am.”
Study fixing relentlessly. Never stop learning, applying, repairing, renewing, rewiring and rebuilding.
Be a master fixer.
Be an established fixer.
If it needs fixing, fix it.
You know how to fix it now, so fix it now!
Am I the answer to my success? Yes, I am.
Remember this, “Fear Not!”
I am now 87% fixed.
